Joomla website upgrade and template updates for wheel repair centre
Project Overview
London-based alloy wheel repair and refurbishment company, First Aid Wheels, asked us to upgrade two of their websites’ templates to work with mobile devices, and from earlier versions of Joomla. We provided the know-how to smoothly upgrade the sites on a development server then added new templates via YooThemes.
Template customisations
There were a number of customisations made to the layout so that mobile users, who are a key audience for the websites could easily access contact information for their alloy wheel refurbishment and exchange business. We also needed to update the existing quote system via nBill.
Webhosting and website maintenance
We continue to provide support and maintenance for the First Aid Wheels website and have added social networking links joining together their Twitter and Facebook pages, helping to grow their audience. The site also benefits from being hosted with Rochen, a recommended Joomla webhosting service. The webhosting has brought significant pagespeed improvements, which of course helps with SEO.
Other projects
Besides the main website updates. later on we created a standalone application to provide tyre-sizing information to website users. The application was incorporated into a landing page designed to help with SEO.
