Baking and Recipe Videos WordPress Website

Project Overview

The Cakes and Baking website started as an experiment in regularly posting content including video content. It’s a WordPress website built on an industry standard Genesis theme called Mai Lifestyle Pro which has been modified using a plugin called Content Views which allows for flexible grid listing of posts. We further optimised the site using WP Rocket which is fast becoming the industry leader in WordPress caching plugins.

Over time we have added a lot of content and created our own posts around baking ideas including a popular one about baking bagels. The site has proved popular with fans of the Hummingbird Bakery, Mary Berry and Jamie Oliver, and we continue to marvel at the increase in visitor numbers.
