WordPress website theme update for a data management firm

Project Overview

This is the second stage of work done for London-based data management firm, Infordata Consulting alongside Hughes Design. We initially worked on moving their website from Joomla to WordPress to help with them managing their SEO back in May 2013. This time round we looked at the messaging and how users understood their services, while also updating the look and feel to be more consistent.

The initial brief was to add some movement to the site, which we achieved with the Layer Slider plugin. This allows for independent movement between layers, so an image could be overlaid with live text, very useful for being indexed by search engines.

We also discussed the language used and the text was updated by Infordata after some discussions.

We expanded the footer, included more social links and listing recent articles from the site blog to provide a greater depth of content.

Overall the site has a more consistent look and feel and more appeal to the non-technical user.
