New WordPress website for US firm

Having completed work on the design and rebuild of a WordPress website for London client, The Miles Partnership, we were delighted to be asked to work with their US-based affiliates, Sterling James. The brief was to design and build a WordPress website which could be updated with partner information and news about speaking events. WordPress suited this task well. We also wanted to reflect the insurance industry in the imagery used so we included pictures of LLoyds of London, the Willis Tower in Chicago and the soon-to-be-completed One World Trade Building in New York.

This website was a quick turnaround but with Dan, Mike and Louis on the task we managed it, and with only one midnight Skype call to New York call too.

Social media and The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones are back and touring during the Summer of 2013. And we have been kept busy managing the social media for Stones guitarist Mick Taylor who played with the band from 1969 to 1974 and is currently performing with the band across America, Canada and the UK.

Managing Mick’s Facebook, Twitter and website for his management at Sensible Music, for several years, we have seen followers grow tenfold in this time. Many fans have been posting pictures, requests and good luck messages and in turn we’ve been driving traffic to websites using teaser stories. It obviously helps having a brand like The Rolling Stones to drive interest.

Photographers’ agent WordPress website

We’ve spent some time working with our partners at etcx3 on a new website for photographers’ agents, Jane Patrick. The website had been in Flash but to utilise SEO opportunities we developed a new website in WordPress for this London based company. There are currently 5 photographers represented with galleries showcasing over 800 images mostly around the food theme. These pictures and photographers’ work can be seen on packaging, in cook books and much more.

WordPress website launch for Chelsea Harbour interior designers th2

April 2013 sees the launch of a new WordPress website for interior design firm th2. The site was developed and built by DJA. It uses a large amount of original photography showcasing their work. We also assisted with ensuring the site was optimised for SEO which has seen a great improvement in page ranking since the site was launched.

Arroz Vitaminado – Rice fortifcation in Brazil

We recently finished a project in conjunction with SCL in London and PATH in Seattle, USA to design and build a website for Arroz Vitaminado in Brazil. It’s a programme aiming at improving the diets of a population whose staple food is rice. As the programme is aimed at the Brazilian population the website launched in Portugese (being the official language). We developed the website work as a multilingual WordPress setup so it could also be updated into English without affecting the layout.

The website is divided into 3 parts: Consumers, Manufacturers and Government / Scientific sector.

Miles Partnership WordPress website updates

Following a successful launch of the new Miles Partnership website in 2010 we continued to talk with them about other possibilities for the website. It launched with new partner profiles, consistent photography and a new layout. In 2012 we started work to move this onto a WordPress platform to enable the adding of News, Analysis and Reports. In addition they wanted to give it a more global feel.
