DJA is owned and operated by Dan Atrill and supported by a number of UK-based associates specialising in design and front end development including our design partners, Hughes Design. Dan’s been employed by software and comms companies since 1994, the main 3 being SpacetimeSystems/bocs, WMW and Avid/Sibelius. During this time he gained a lot of experience in both technical knowledge and dealing with clients, from user group meetings, Help Desk calls, on-site visits through to video interviews with clients, group presentations to HR departments and attending client training courses (even earning a B&Q apron in 2005)

In the past 10 years as a professional web developer Dan has helped produce an award-winning online recruitment tool, numerous CD-ROMs, corporate videos, an internal holiday/HR system (built in PHP), a company intranet, an internal comms branded communication application (built in Flash/PHP), a number of user-generated content websites for musicians and composers and helped showcase the work of award-winning photographers. DJA has  launched countless content managed websites, online stores and helped redevelop existing websites. As a supplier to a number of design firms DJA has provided the technological know-how and helped optimise websites for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
